The culinary experience at Le Laurencin is truly a celebration of French gastronomy. Their prix fixe menus, notably priced around 16.90€ to 19€, offer a thoughtful selection of classic dishes that captivate the senses. Meat lovers will appreciate the succulent flank steak or flavorful beef dishes, where each sauce is crafted to complement the natural essence of the protein without overpowering it.

My sisters and I were visiting from the U.S. We had an excellent lunch here. I chose prix fixe of onion soup, fish of the day, and praline tart for only 16.90€. My sister ordered a beef dish. The food was right portioned and the sauces for the beef and fish were delicious. I've never had praline tart before and that was a good way to end the meal. Service was good as well.

We went to this restaurant for a group dinner on a weekend and it was packed; luckily we had reservations. We ordered from the set menu which has a range of options for starter, mains and desserts. Our group ordered a range of dishes and they were all flavorsome. The service was a bit slow but otherwise we had a pleasant experience.

Location is perfect. Middle of down town Lyon. It’s a little bit crowded and hard to find table. Some workers are really polite. Tables are very close to each other. Food is really delicious. When I compared their taste and price it’s really successful.

This was an amazing find! We were looking for classic french dishes at a resonable price! For 19.90€ we got an appetizer, entre, and a dessert that were all delicious. The food came out quick, we were able to communicate well in English and Spanish, and they were open on Christmas Day!

Great choice if you want to eat typical food Lyon area. Staff is very kind, attentive. Environment is clean. They do serve set-menu of choice with 2 dishes and desserts included. Worth a visit if you are in Vieux Lyon, just don't miss their salade lyonnaise, quelle and tarte à la praline lyonnaise. Just the highest level of tasty heaven! Staff speaks English and Spanish too. Make sure you reserve ahead if you are a few.
